Your child will be going through a lot of testing in the next year or two to get ready for college, but no test will be as important as the SAT*. That test can be a deciding factor as to which school he/she will attend. His/her scores can open doors to some of the most prestigious universities in the country. At EUREKA, we want to help make that happen.
Since the test is different than anything they've taken in school, we provide them with a roadmap of how to take the test, what tricks to use and what traps to avoid.
For example - not too many students know that only 8% of the country correctly answers the last question on the Math section. This question is Multiple Choice and if they were to blindly guess, they would have a 20% chance of being right, yet the national average is only 8% - why? The test makers put so many traps into these types of questions that students can't help but fall for one of them.
At EUREKA, we help students understand this test inside and out. They have already learned the fundamentals in school - we help them apply those fundamentals to this test. They learn which questions to do, and which ones to avoid. They learn how to identify incorrect answers and how to arrive at the correct ones.
